Now that he is all washed up as an athlete, Pat works with various different International Athletes and Sports teams in an attempt to vicariously live through them.
Even though he was one of the OG founders of Physio Impact. Pat has always said that his team are way better than he is, and the people around him make him look way better than he actually is. But if you must...

Vendy’s dedication to managing her own niggles and injuries throughout many years competing in Crossfit, Strongwoman, Weightlifting and Powerlifting on the highest level inspired her to become a physiotherapist. Vendy believes that rehab and training are the same thing, but the starting point might be a little different. She likes to program rehab based on client’s interests and goals.

Maddy Barbarich
BHSc (Physio)
admin@physioimpact.co.nz
Maddy graduated from the University of Auckland with an undergraduate BSc and postgraduate honours in Exercise Science in 2012. Initially, she continued to work in exercise science research, however, it felt like something was missing. Maddy started personal training, then CrossFit coaching, and realised the missing ingredient was working closely with people. This prompted her to return to study and in 2023 she graduated first in her class from AUT with BHSc (Physiotherapy).
Maddy’s passion is putting theory into practice, both for her patients and her own niggles over the years of hockey and CrossFit. She believes that everyone should feel strong and confident in doing whatever activities are meaningful to them.

Beau
Senior Therapy Dog
Beau graduated from doggo school 9 years ago. He is very experienced and great at his job, however his background story is somewhat vague. Beau prides himself in providing friendly welcome cuddles, as well as relaxing background tunes in the form of snoring.
Beau started with the team at Physio Impact in April 2021, and has fitted in well. Beau enjoys the occasional stroll, but won’t be running a marathon any time soon. Be forewarned, once you start a conversation he’s hard to say no to, so make sure you allow extra time for the chats and pats.
