Patrick Peng
BHSc (Physio), PGCert (Acup), CMP

Patrick is a high-performance, sports-specific physiotherapist. Having done Gymnastics at a high level for 15 years of his life; 2 Commonwealth Games and 5 World Championships later, he ended up getting a pretty good idea of what the human body is capable of, as well as what happens when the body decides to fail. Patrick graduated from AUT in 2011, with a BHSc (Physiotherapy), then continued on to post graduate study in Acupuncture and gained CMP status.

Patrick has recently returned to New Zealand, after a 2 year stint in London. During that time, he increased his experience in sports medicine, working in various sports physiotherapy practices. Patrick was the New Zealand physiotherapist at the recent Rio Olympic Test Event.

Patrick has a great passion for all things sports, particularly high-level rehabilitation and fixing all those annoying little niggles we all have to live through. Patrick is an avid beer and wine enthusiast.

Amy Schischka
BHSc (Physio), CMP, MPNZ

Amy graduated with a BHSc (Physiotherapy) in 2011. Since then she has worked in the musculoskeletal field, and has developed a strong interest in diagnostics, biomechanics, sports-specific physiotherapy and surgical rehabilitation.

Amy has dedicated a lot of her time and learning in the area of surgical management - having spent hours observing Auckland's top surgeons at work and reviewing their rehabilitation protocols. Amy has carried out extensive post-graduate training in dry needling, as well as achieving her Certified Mulligan Practitioner qualification.

Outside of work, Amy is a competitive horse rider in Showjumping and Eventing, and enjoys relaxing with her family and friends.

Josh Rogers

Joshua graduated from AUT in 2011 with a BHSc: (Physiotherapy). Since then he has worked in a High-Performance Sports centre for young athletes dealing with a variety of problems from Acute injuries to long-standing biomechanical deficits. Along with this, Josh is an experienced sideline physio for national and international winning rugby teams. This makes Josh our acute injury specialist as he has seen it all.

From acute knees to concussion testing and rehab. Josh believes in maximising recovery time by providing comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, combined with a strong rehab focus specific to your sport or activity.

Jono Devine
BHSc (Physio)

Jono graduated AUT in 2018 with a BHSc (Physiotherapy). He is an avid sport fan with a love for cricket and rugby having played club cricket overseas for a few seasons in both Australia and England.

Jono has had a number of injuries himself including longstanding chronic low back pain so he is well versed in managing the complexities of longterm injuries. Jono has developed a strong sense of empathy through his own experiences with injury and is keen to help others in any way possible. Jono is currently undertaking further postgraduate study develop his skills as a health practitioner.

Allie le Lievre

Allie qualified from AUT with a BHs Physiotherapy in 2012. She has since worked in Musculoskeletal private practice both in New Zealand and London. She has also worked with International Rugby and Netball teams during this time.

She completed her post graduate studies in APPI Clinical Pilates in 2016 and has utilised her specialist training to diagnose, treat and cure a vast spectrum of clients. These include elite sports people, youth athletes, post operative clients (particularly spinal and knee) and of course your classic '8 hours at a desk' clients. Good posture is the foundation!

David Edwards
BHSc (Physio), MPNZ

David Edwards graduated at AUT in 2012 with a BHSc (Physiotherapy). Since graduating, David has dedicated his work to the musculoskeletal field. In his time as a registered physiotherapist in Australia and New Zealand, David has worked in clinics, as a sideline physio, in retirement villages, and has developed health and safety procedures, workplace physicals, and injury prevention programmes for many positions in major companies.

As a keen sport watching enthusiast, David has also worked as a physio with many sports clubs including rugby league, rugby union, soccer, and gymnastics clubs in both New Zealand and Australia.

Aurora Wood
BHSc (Physio)

Aurora is new to the team having graduated from AUT in 2019 with a BHSc (physiotherapy). She is passionate about musculoskeletal physiotherapy, fitness and health. Having dabbled in netball and football throughout her life, sports related injuries are very familiar to Aurora.

She believes that a combination of hands on physiotherapy and exercise prescription is the way forward to rehabilitate and prevent future injuries. Aurora will be perusing post graduate study in the close future to develop her skills as a physiotherapist.

In her free time, Aurora can be found adventuring the outdoors or relaxing at the beach and enjoying a Swiss chocolate flavoured ice cream.
