FIFA 11+
The FIFA 11+ is a comprehensive warm up program. Performed twice a week prior to training, it has been shown to decrease injury rates by up to 50%.
Patellofemoral Pain
Patellofemoral pain is often described as a non-specific, deep seated pain around the front and/or below the patella (kneecap). It is commonly aggravated by activities that involve repetitive flexion (bending) of the knee.
Biomechanical misalignment of the lower limb during activities such as running, walking up or down hills, stairs and squats can cause or exacerbate PF symptoms.
PF pain is not an acute ‘injury’ but rather a result of muscular imbalances and altered biomechanics. This can cause a misalignment of the patella placement in its groove, resulting in poor tracking of the patella during knee flexion.
